Introduction

I am so excited that you girls want to dive into the word and spend a good amount of time with God! I am evern more excited and scared and nervous all at the same time that you asked me to help. I have been praying for our study and I really want it to be something that helps you in your walk with Christ. You both are such great girls and God has an amazing plan for your lives, I am so happy that I get to be apart of it.

It seems like John is the all around vote from the three of us, so I have set up this blog so that we can comment and get feedback from each other one what we are reading. I am sure we will talk about everything on Thursday but just incase what I am thinking for this study is that we will take our time and go slowly through John. So, there are 21 chapters and a whole bunch of verses in this book. We can go one section at a time, that way we can really dwell on what John is saying. I will specify each week which verses to read but for the most part I think we will just read each subsection a day. After reading the designated verses, my hope is that we will each come to the blog and post either a question or a comment about what stuck out to us.

This is a really good opportunity to allow God to speak through John's words and to pray a lot about what He wants you to get out of the passage you are reading. It's not always easy to hear or understand what God is saying but I am possitive that at some point in this study God is going to speak to each one us. Lately He has been teaching me a lot about patience, and to wait for His answers to my questions. But ever since I have been keeping up with my quiet times and really spending time with Him each day God has revealed Himself more and more in my life. This is exactly what I want for you girls and I can't wait to see how He is going to work in your life!
